A major connectivity update has been implemented for R1BBIT ONE and R1BBIT MINI:
both boards now support Wi-Fi Direct and Server Mode.
This unlocks two powerful ways to interact with your device:
- Wi-Fi Direct — connect to the board instantly without any router or network setup
- Server Mode — control the board remotely from anywhere via the cloud
With Server Mode enabled, users can:
- Monitor sensor data in real time
- Display values on widgets inside the app
- Control outputs and run scripts remotely
- Store historical data securely on the server
This upgrade transforms R1BBIT from a local tool into a fully remote automation platform, ideal for smart home systems, monitoring stations, and IoT dashboards.
More network features — including access sharing and multi-device sync — are currently in development.
