First Prototypes of R1BBIT NANO & PICO Arrive for Testing

Today marks another exciting milestone — we’ve received the first physical prototypes of the R1BBIT NANO and R1BBIT PICO boards.

These ultra-compact models are now undergoing intensive testing and validation. Our focus at this stage is to ensure:

  • Stable power delivery via USB-C
  • Reliable sensor and peripheral communication
  • Full compatibility with our scripting environment
  • Wireless connectivity performance in such a small form factor

Despite their minimal size, both boards are expected to deliver the same responsiveness and ease of use as the larger R1BBIT ONE and MINI.

Over the coming days, we’ll be running stress tests, real-world scenarios, and fit checks inside small enclosures and robotic frames.

If everything passes as expected, production preparation will follow shortly after.

The smallest R1BBIT is almost ready — and it’s already performing impressively.
