Development of the Compact R1BBIT MINI Board Begins

This month marks the start of development on our newest addition to the R1BBIT family: R1BBIT MINI.

The goal of this model is simple — deliver the full R1BBIT experience in a smaller and more affordable format.

Despite its reduced size, the MINI retains:

  • The same powerful processor as the flagship R1BBIT ONE
  • High functionality with support for sensors, motors, and wireless connectivity
  • Full compatibility with our scripting language and mobile/desktop ecosystem

So what’s different?

  • Up to 2.5× smaller than the original R1BBIT ONE
  • Fewer input/output ports, optimized for more compact projects
  • Lower cost, making it perfect for mass use, education, and portable builds

R1BBIT MINI is being designed for creators who want maximum efficiency in minimum space — ideal for wearables, smart home gadgets, robotics modules, and embedded automation.

With the large board already proving itself in early testing, the MINI version aims to bring the same simplicity and reliability to a wider range of applications.

Development is now underway — schematics and first layout drafts are already complete. Prototyping begins soon.
