TCA9548A: 1-to-8 I2C Multiplexer / Expander
Ever run into a situation where you have two sensors with the same I2C address? The TCA9548A is the solution. This 8-channel multiplexer allows you to connect up to eight I2C devices with identical addresses to a single I2C port on your R1BBIT controller.
Simply send a command to the TCA9548A to select the desired channel, and your controller will talk only to the devices on that specific bus.
