Coming from the Arduino IDE — what is fundamentally different here?
I've been writing sketches for five years. I'm trying to work out what I gain besides not having to compile. Could someone put it in a couple of sentences?

DS1820 returns 85 every other read — what am I doing wrong?
Two sensors on one bus, polled every 1000 ms: Every second reading is exactly 85.0. The wire is short and the 4.7k pull up is in place.
