When you chain multiple LED matrix panels together, you can now set the brightness of each panel individually with MATRIX_BRIGHTNESS. This lets you even out panels that differ slightly, or deliberately create bright and dim zones across a video wall. Previously brightness was all-or-nothing across the whole matrix. Fine control like this matters for large displays where uniformity — or intentional contrast — makes the difference.
